Reflective Color
Sensor Assembly OPB780Z
The OPB780Z color sensor uses a
light-to-frequency converter that combines
64 configurable silicon photodiodes, with
a white LED in a small, lightweight package
that makes it ideal for using in miniature
applications. The output of the device
is designed to drive a standard TTL or
CMOS logic input over short distances.
Tube Liquid Sensor
OPB350 Series
The
OPB350 series liquid sensor is designed
to work with 1/16” [1.6mm] 1/8” [3.2mm],
3/16” [4.8 mm] and 1/4” [6.3 mm] outside
diameter clear tubes. When output reference
circuitry is added, multiple output states
such as “fluid present,” “no fluid present”
and “no tube present” can be recognized.
Clear liquid present causes the phototransistor
to sink the maximum current, while dark
liquid present causes it to sink the minimum
current. As bubbles pass through the tube,
the signal will vary between the “liquid
present” and “no liquid” states. If no
tube is present, the phototransistor sinks
current between the dark fluid and clear
Fluid states. The customer will have to
identify the typical current values for
each situation.
Long Distance
Reflective Switch
OPB720A and OPB720B Series
The OPB720A and OPB720B Series
reflective switches detects objects as
far away as 12” (305 mm) using standard
90% reflective material, and can detect
objects as small as 0.08” (2 mm). The
OPB720 series consist of three standard
reflective switching distances -06Z for
typically 6” (152 mm), -12Z for typically
12” (305 mm) and -30VZ for typically 30”
(762 mm). The power supply voltage range
of the OPB720A series is 10 to 30 volts
while the power supply voltage range for
the OPB720B is 4 to 7 volts.
The OPA720A and OPB720B sensors are NOT
affected by ambient light in most conditions.
Ambient light conditions are compensated
by using a synchronous driver detection
scheme.
Infrared Light
Emitting Diode OP250, OP251
Features:
• High power GaAIAs
• 1206 miniature SMD package style
• 880 nm wavelength
• Choice of narrow or tight beam angle
• Mechanically and spectrally matched
to OP520 series phototransistors
Each OP250 and OP251 device is a GaAIAs
infrared LED, mounted in a miniature SMT
1206 size chip carrier that is compatible
with most automated mounting equipment.
The OP250 has a flat molded lens that
enables a wide beam angle and provides
an even emission pattern. The OP251 has
an internal molded lens that enables a
tight beam angle and provides an even
emission pattern.
