Industry, Jaro’s new
tightly-designed MR-16 LED coolers
optimize longevity and temperature
with a highly-efficient
fluid-bearing structure. At speeds
of up to 4200RPM±15%, these DC
coolers provide a chilly, yet
quiet air-flow of 1.850CFM (min.:
1.573 CFM). Specifically designed
for LED cooling applications, they
are sized at 30mm x30mm x 7mm and
operate from -20°C TO +90°C. Due
to a perfectly balanced design
(where the vibration grade = G1-
ISO 1940 standard), these coolers
operate with miniscule levels of
detectable vibration. By avoiding
mechanical friction, JARO’s AFB
bearing provides an impressive
70,000 hours of long life at 40°C.
In addition, less friction also
offers a virtually-silent
operation. Operating at a quiet
18.6dB (max.:20.6dB(A)), these
coolers are at the cutting edge of
low-level-noise performance.

packaging of the new TitanBrite products
allows for the elimination of the metal core
PCB and instead fuses to a lead frame to

reflective switch with adjustable
sensitivity and simplified mounting. The
OPB725A-18Z device uses an infrared LED
and a logic output sensor in a reflective
switch configuration, and features a
reflective sensing distance of up to 24”
depending on the object.“The OPB725A-18Z
switch includes an externally-accessible
trimpot, which allows customers to adjust
the sensitivity of the device depending on
their application-specific needs,” said

TT electronics OPTEK Technology’s LED module strips
and flexible LED light strips have been employed by
Adirondack Studios in the design and fabrication of
the “Changing Earth” exhibit at the Franklin
Institute in Philadelphia, PA. The exhibit includes
a Magma Crawl display – a crawl-through fiberglass
tunnel that uses a sequence of programmed lights and
heating elements to simulate the flow of lava
