Compact 1W DC-DC Converter With Ultra High I/O Isolation of 6000 VDC and Isolation Barrier of 2.5mm
Aimtec Inc. strengthens its 1 watt product offering with the launch of the AM1DC-Z series of DC-DC converters providing ultra high I/O isolation of 6000 VDC with an isolation barrier of 2.5mm, providing supplemental isolation.

Input voltages of 5, 12 and 24 VDC converts to single and dual output voltages of (±)3.3, (±) 5, (±)9, (±)12 and (±)15 VDC with continuous short circuit protection.  Operating at efficiencies as high as 79% within an ambient temperature range of -40C to +71C at full load or up to +85C with derating, the AM1DC-Z  series is well suited for both indoor and outdoor industrial applications including motor control, test and measurement. 

Designed in a compact SIP7 package (19.56 x 9.90 x 12.45mm), the AM1DC-Z ‘s I/O isolation barrier (2.5mm) meets the specifications outlined in the IEC 60950-1:2001 safety standard ITE (rated for 250VAC working voltage), allowing these converters to be used in a multitude of space critical applications.
